Improvement Survey Plat

An Improvement Survey Plat is similar to a Monumented Land Survey with the addition of locating all existing improvements on the parcel. This provides an owner, or buyer, of a parcel with complete information about property lines, property corners, all of the structures on the property, and sheds light on whether there are encroachments onto an adjoiner or by an adjoiner. As with the LSP, an Improvement Survey Plat is deposited with the Clerk and Recorder of the county wherein the land lies.
